Students will discover historic and other sites of interest in Avondale including Gabriel’s Place, an organization which provides nutrition education and also maintains its own garden and complete kitchen facilities. The group will also visit Zion Baptist Church where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached several times during his trips to Cincinnati as well as St. James AME Zion Church, now located in a building formerly occupied by a Jewish congregation through the 1960’s. The program will culminate with a permanent installation of work by participating students at the US Bank Boys and Girls Club in Avondale.

Students create a new video each week on a specific topic by interviewing each other. The video below focuses on how the world will be different in twenty years.
