New Voices: Sycamore High School and Over-the-Rhine Community Housing, Winter, 2015

Posted on January 27, 2015

Sycamore High School students worked with seniors at the new Over-the-Rhine Community Housing facility on Elm street throughout the spring of 2015.

The group explored Over-the-Rhine through photography and video and produced an exhibition and permanent installation at the conclusion of the program. The installation consisted of a photo-collage with a gradient of images showing the transition of Over-the-Rhine from old to new. Below, students and residents work on the collage together.

Students work together to arrange final collage.

Students and OTRCH partners produced videos at their first meeting to reflect on the possibilities of working together in OTR.
