New Voices worked with Milford High School students to create a collaborative project with residents at the women’s shelter at Cincinnati’s Drop Inn Center in the fall of 2013.
Students and residents worked together to create a “photo-tapestry” woven out of images that the group captured in the neighborhood immediately surrounding the Drop Inn Center. The tapestry serves as a bridge between students and residents of the women’s shelter, representing their shared understanding of the past and future of the city.
