Posted on September 27, 2017

Finneytown High School students learn and create with Bhutanese American participants in Turner Farm’s community garden.

In the Fall of 2017, Finneytown high school photo students traveled to the Franciscan community garden operated by Turner Farm, an Indian Hill based non-profit organization. Students met with Bhutanese gardeners to learn about their cultural practices and hear their stories of resettlement in the US. Students documented their experience with photo and video and produced an exhibit and catalog of their work at the conclusion of the program.
