New Voices: Bishop Brossart and Covington Housing Authority, Fall, 2015

Posted on September 02, 2015

This fall, students from Bishop Brossart High School collaborate with youth residents at the City Heights community in Covington, KY.

Bishop Brossart students will work directly with youth served by the Covington Housing Authority, producing creative works centered around food traditions. Students worked together in the City Heights Recreation Center to produce family recipes and share personal stories. Students photographed their creations and produced a display and mini-cookbook of their recipes and stories at the conclusion of the program.

Fun, Food and Friends contains short recipes and many images from the collaboration between Bishop Brossart students and City Heights youth. Click below to view online.
