“Seeing the Good” is a photo program for youth in Cincinnati ages 5-18 which will be produced in conjunction with the Mayerson Center for Safe and Healthy Children. The end goal of the program is to create a set of images which participating youth have identified and described as images which represent a positive view of their world. The first session of this project will be held at the YMCA’s Cincy After School program at the School for Creative and Performing Arts during the summer of 2014. Images will be used by the Mayerson Center to assist with their efforts at educating caregivers to identify, treat and prevent child abuse and problems related to toxic stress in children.
