New Voices produced a program with DePaul Cristo Rey High School students and Ohio Justice and Policy Center in the spring of 2016 to explore the impact of criminal records on employment and housing.
Students interviewed individuals with criminal backgrounds, met with social workers who assist with employment and housing and visited the Hamilton County Courthouse to observe hearings involving criminal records. Students produced a video out of their experiences to express their unique understanding of this issue. Click here to read about the project in the Cincinnati Enquirer.
